Draft bill of law No. 8370 transposing Directive (EU) 2022/2464 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 December 2022 amending Regulation (EU) No. 537/2014 and Directives 2004/109/EC, 2006/43/EC and 2013/34/EU as regards corporate sustainability reporting, was approved by the Government Council and submitted to the Chamber of Deputies on 29 March 2024.

This bill will now follow the ordinary legislative procedure (e.g. opinion of the professional chambers, opinion of the Council of State, debates in the Chamber of Deputies, etc.).

For the record, Directive (EU) 2922/2464, known as the “CSRD”, must be transposed into Luxembourg law by 6 July 2024 at the latest.
