On 2 October 2013, the Minister for Justice, together with the other founding members, signed the formation deed of the economic interest grouping (EIG) “Commission des normes comptables (CNC)” (Accounting Standards Board). Alongside the State, the new EIG includes the “Banque centrale du Luxembourg” (Central Bank of Luxembourg), the “Commission de surveillance du secteur financier” (Financial Sector Supervisory Commission), the “Commissariat aux assurances” (Supervisory Authority of the Insurance Sector), the “Chambre de commerce” (Chamber of Commerce), the “Institut des réviseurs d’entreprises” (Institute of Registered Auditors) and the “Ordre des experts-comptables” (Institute of Chartered Accountants).
