On 2 October 2013, the Minister for Justice, together with the other founding members, signed the formation deed of the economic interest grouping (EIG) “Commission des normes comptables (CNC)” (Accounting Standards Board). Alongside the State, the new EIG includes the “Banque centrale du Luxembourg” (Central Bank of Luxembourg), the “Commission de surveillance du secteur financier” (Financial Sector Supervisory Commission), the “Commissariat aux assurances” (Regulator of the Insurance Sector), the “Chambre de commerce” (Chamber of Commerce), the “Institut des réviseurs d’entreprises” (Professional Association for Statutory Auditors) and the “Ordre des experts-comptables” (Order of Chartered Accountants).
